Repairing a ceramic doll

I bought this ceramic doll from England on 2003 as a gift to my daughter when she was studying Dentistry in Dundee - Scotland. She lived in her flat until for 7 years until she graduated and moved back to Kuwait. Unfortunately the cleaner knocked it down and the doll's face got smashed. My daughter was horrified of the sight and asked to get rid of it. I couldn't of course and decided to repair it and keep it and so I did. It now lives happily in my bedroom.
I used air drying clay, acrylic paints and varnish.
